ERE Media, the parent company of this site, will merge with Talent Board, a nonprofit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience through its annual benchmark research.

The CandE Benchmark Research Program is widely recognized as the only global candidate experience benchmark research program designed for the recruiting professional. The most recent report surveyed 150 companies worldwide, collecting feedback from and experiences of nearly 200,000 candidates.

In addition to research, Talent Board offers an array of services and products, one of its best-known being the annual CandE Awards Conference, which is taking place this week. The event highlights the people, processes, and technologies that deliver business impact. In 2024, the CandEs award ceremony will be part of the fall ERE Recruiting Conference.

“There are very few recruiting-focused research, content, and conference entities like ERE and the CandEs,” explains Kevin Grossman, Talent Board president and now vice-president of research at ERE Media, “so merging today and combining our superpowers keeps us poised to provide even more value to TA leaders and their teams in 2024 and beyond.”

“Candidate satisfaction spiked during the pandemic as companies engaged in the most competitive talent market that I have seen in my career,” adds ERE Media CEO David Manaster. “Since then, the average candidate experience has been slipping. This merger is an opportunity for our profession to focus on that experience, make it better for our candidates, and improve our own recruitment efforts in the process.”

Both Talent Board and ERE Media have been serving the talent acquisition community for many years. Talent Board was founded in 2011 and has since been one of the most respected sources of information on all things candidate experience. ERE Media was founded over 20 years ago as an independent, unbiased forum for talent acquisition professionals to gain insights and connect with each other.
