Two industry players were winners in Fast Company, a popular business publication.
Phoenix-area sourcing solution HiringSolved has landed on Fast Company’s list as a most innovative company in the category of artificial intelligence. Coming in at No. 2, only Nvidia, a large publicly traded company, ranked higher. HiringSolved was the only recruitment tool to make the top 10.
HiringSolved CEO Shon Burton says that when the company launched in 2012, betting on AI, “nobody believed it would work.”
“Our software enables new capabilities for discovering and hiring talent in ways that seemed impossible just a few years ago,” he says.
Fast Company was particularly bullish on HiringSolved’s voice and diversity solutions.
“Hiring managers can speak to Recruiting Artificial Intelligence and tell it what they’re looking for and receive in return names of people who meet their stated standards,” Fast Company said in a release. “By integrating voice recognition into its software, HiringSolved lets its employees handle these tasks both at their desktop and when their mobile.”
On diversity, Fast Company said HiringSolved’s search engine lets companies turn their espoused values into action by helping clients identify high-quality diverse candidates without a lot of complex manual effort.
Los Angeles area-based ZipRecruiter was highlighted in the Enterprise category. Coming in at No. 9, Fast Company highlighted Zip’s ability to enable hiring managers to react to promising applications more quickly.
ZipRecruiter has been busy building out its AI offerings, notably ramping up operations in Israel.
Fast Company highlighted Zip’s upgraded features around messaging, as well as the ability to “learn over time based on feedback to improve future job listings.”
For individuals, it restructured its profiles so they can pop up for more opportunities offered by small or medium-size businesses. It also upgraded its app to improve the application process.
Fast Company poked a little fun at Zip’s airwaves ubiquity, saying “As listeners to popular podcasts well know, 80 percent of employers who post a job on ZipRecruiter discover a high-quality candidate within a day.”
